Who are we?
I’m Domenica Maria Bussetti, the founder of Fondazione Salva la Torre (Save the tower Foundation) that my aunt gave me in the latest 1955.
With all of this years of history, the building represents an inestimable value for the area, for the history and the architecture of our Country. That’s why in 2002 I decided to gave it on a gratuitous loan to the municipality of Almese so everybody could appreciate it.
Call to action
By now the tower is thousand-year old and and it’s craving for cures, wall and structural restoration that until now I paid with own money. However , what I can do by myself is not enough to pay all the expenses , so I’m asking for your contribution to bring back to life a part of the Italian history and the Almese village. It’s a part of me, of my village and the community where I live in and that’s why I’m asking for your help.
